Katie Legere, CYT

Katie is a Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher, guiding gentle and restorative themed classes since 2012. With a professional background in mental health services and her love of nature, Katie’s classes are informed by special interests in neuroscience, somatic psychology, the nervous system and natures seasonal wisdom. She skillfully guides yoga classes, themed private session and workshops integrating accessible and supported postures, awareness of the breath, and mindfulness meditation. All are welcome, with or without yoga experience you are free to create a unique and personal expression of yoga that is strong, dynamic and grounding.

Marina MacLean E-RYT 500, YACEP

I am an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500 hrs level with Yoga Alliance, a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, a Registered Yin Yang Yoga Teacher with the Yin Yoga Institute, a Yoga and Ayurveda Health Educator with the American Institute of Vedic Studies, an Acupressure Practitioner with the Acupressure Institute of America, a Certified Qigong Instructor with the Qigong and Daoist Training Center, and a Unified Mindfulness Facilitator in the tradition of Shinzen Young.

HATHA YOGA – Tuesday 5:00-6:30PM
Authentic yoga class includes warm ups, flow sequences, poses incorporating all the movements of the spine as well as breathing practices and relaxation. Suitable for intermediate students familiar with the foundation poses.

Integrating yoga, qigong, meditation and relaxation. Enjoyable and relaxing combination of practices promoting health and well-being. Suitable for all students.

There are 5 sessions of 8 weeks.
Registration for a session is $120.00

Jenny has been teaching Yoga since 2012. With her years of kineselology education, previous personal training carrerr, RMT work experience and a genuine love of safe movement, her classes foucus on making yoga accessible to everyone with modifications always shown.

Jenny is available for teaching Yoga for 1:1 private classes, teaching school groups at the SKY Studio or in school as well as School Teacher Yoga/Mindfullness training to incorporate within the teaching curriculum.

Womens Gentle Stretch
Recommended for 50+ women looking for a class focused on health and wellness, safety and proper body alignment, diaphragmatic breathing and balance. This class is suitable for all fitness levels with modifications always available.
Bring a yoga mat and water, wear comfortable clothes (shoes are not required!).

Cost: $12.00 per drop in class or $100.00 for 10 classes

Youth Yoga
This interactive, fun and focused Yoga class geared for young yogi. We will work on creating positive body awareness, mindfulness and breathing techniques to incorporate into everyday life. Each class will include balance poses, core muscle strength and stretching of the hips, knees, back and shoulders in each class.

Jillian Arsenault, RYT

Jill has been practicing yoga since 2011. She immediately connected with it. Over time yoga began to feel like a way of slowly healing herself and her practice encouraged her awareness inward. Her focus naturally shifted toward a deeper knowing and acceptance of her inner self, and living more authentically in line with her true nature. She believes that yoga provides the teachings that inspire us to live from a place of light and a place where we may all cultivate full acceptance, love, and a sense of wholeness. During her classes, Jill strives to share her yoga by offering a supportive space that encourages compassion and loving-kindness, as well as a deep inquiry into the self and consciousness. Jill encourages the process of coming home to yourself- an awakening through asana, meditation, breath, and connection.

CHAKRA IMMERSION: Mondays 5:30PM-6:30PM OR 7:00PM-8:00PM

This is an 8 week series, with start dates on:

  • Monday June 26th, 2017
  • Monday September 11th, 2017

Take a journey through the Chakras (the energy centre’s in the energetic, emotional, and physical body) in this 8 week class series. We’ll immerse ourselves into the anatomy of 7 main Chakras in order to explore and understand how they affect you physically, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually. Dive into the more subtle and deeply layered aspects of your practice and learn how yoga postures, breathing techniques, sounds, mantras, and the earth’s elements can directly activate, heal, and balance each Chakra, helping to bring you an overall sense of wellbeing.
